Hello friends! I am Deya.

​I was born in The Bronx, NY and moved to Guatemala when I was 2 Years old. Around the age of 9, I started to develop an interest in photography. I Could never afford a professional camera as a child, so I would buy disposable cameras and run around taking pictures of everything. I eventually returned to the United States in 2014 where I basically started over from scratch. All I had was what I could fit in a suitcase. My older brother and his girlfriend had been living in Vancouver, WA and offered me a place to stay until I could get my feet under me. After about a year, I met the man of my dreams and 2 years after that we were engaged. My life has been nothing I could have ever dreamed of! I finally Purchased my very first DSLR Professional camera after my fiance talked me into pursuing my dream of becoming a photographer. I was enrolled in college at the time and decided to take some classes on photography and the rest was history! I hope you enjoy my portfolio. For now it is small and will grow over time!
